To the Editor:
Please tell your governor that the answer to his question - are we tracking foreign students in Massachusetts? - is: Yes, we are ("Wiretap mosques, Romney suggests," September 15).
What we’re not doing is taking serious steps to ensure that the best and brightest of the world continue to come here to study and develop positive ties to our country. And that’s the real security risk, because today more than ever, we need friends in the world.
