Advocacy Tip of the Month, February 2007

Register for Advocacy Day 2007

As an international educator, you know the life-changing impact that exchanges have on students, campuses, and communities. In order to increase federal support, Congress needs to know the benefits of international education and exchange. Participation in NAFSA’s Advocacy Day, which will be held March 27-28 in Washington, DC, provides you with the opportunity to share your insights with your congressional delegation and seek their support on international education issues.

Join colleagues from around the country for NAFSA’s annual Advocacy Day, a two-day event comprised of comprehensive advocacy training and visits to each participant’s congressional delegation on Capitol Hill. The issues we will be focusing on this year include advocating for a national study abroad program and policies that restore U.S. competitiveness for international students and scholars.

Make a difference for international education. Participate in Advocacy Day 2007. NAFSA's goal is to have at least 150 participants in this year's event. The registration deadline is February 28.
