Comprehensive Immigration Reform in the New Congress

The 110th Congress began January 4 with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) setting the priorities for the new Democratic majority by the introduction of the first 10 Senate bills. The ninth bill (S. 9) introduced was the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007.
