NAFSA Advocates for Improvements in SEVIS

In a letter to NAFSA, the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge thanked the association and its members for enormous effort during the implementation of SEVIS and reported the Department's successes with the program. Marlene M. Johnson, NAFSA Executive Director and CEO, responded by praising the effort of the SEVIS office, while asking for the Secretary's support in correcting the numerous ongoing problems with SEVIS.
