Vermont 10th State to Pass International Education Resolution
On May 9, 2007, the Vermont legislature passed a resolution "encouraging the inclusion of international education programs in...Vermont's colleges and universities in order to meet the challenges of a global society."


New UK Student Visa Requirements Effective September 1
U.S. students will be required to apply for a Prior Entry Clearance Student Visa if their length of stay is six months or more, they are applying for a three-credit or more internship, or they are participating in paid employment in the UK.


DOS Visa Office Sends Message to NAFSA Conference Attendees
Ambassador Maura Harty, the assistant secretary for consular affairs at the State Department, responds to NAFSA's invitation to the annual conference and reinforces the importance of international participation in the United States' academic institutions.
