Cuba Information
In May 2004, the U.S. Government adopted new restrictions on academic programs to Cuba. Under the new rules that dramatically decreased the number of U.S. students studying in Cuba, study abroad programs must meet a number of criteria before they are approved by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control.
If you are planning an educational program in Cuba or planning to attend a program in Cuba, you should be familiar with the rules and regulations posted. Violations of The Cuban Assets Control Regulations are subject to civil and criminal penalties and fines.
