DOS Guide For ROs and AROs of Exchange Visitor Programs

The Department of State (DOS) Office of Exchange Coordination and Designation prepared this Guide to assist Responsible Officers (ROs) and Alternate Responsible Officers (AROs) in carrying out their responsibilities. The Guide provides helpful reminders about the Exchange Visitor Program regulations and the use of the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), and answers some commonly asked questions.
