I-9 Documentation Requirements Waived for Hiring Hurricane Victims

Department of Homeland Security announced in a Press Release that they will not sanction employers for hiring victims of Hurricane Katrina who are unable to provide the required documentation. DHS will review this policy 45 days from date of issuance (September 6, 2005). AMDOC#: 200509007
