Reports / Recommendations from VP-PPP and Chair

• The EA RP Committee and CAL Subcommittee seminar on "Preparing Your Students for the Education Abroad Visa Process" and the conference session on "The Fundamentals of Education Abroad Visa Advising: Establishing Procedures at Your Institution" were well attended and several members provided positive feedback on the conference sessions.
• Schengen visa information has been posted to the NAFSA Web site.
• Discussed committee members rotating off and recruiting strategy for new members. There are three current openings: EA RP Chair-Designate, EA RP Committee member, Government Liaison, EA RP Committee member, Financial Aid.

Input from Subcommittees / Point People

• CAL Subcommittee updates - there are seven new CALs on the subcommittee. Once the opening for Spain is filled the subcommittee will be at full capacity. Current subcommittee total is 34.
• Courtney Green - will update the FBI background instructions for the Web page.
• Kristen McKinney - currently seeking to fill chair and facilitator positions at some of the upcoming regional conferences.
