Doris Gray, PhD, director of the Hilary Clinton center for women's empowerment (Morocco), will offer her thoughts on the ways volatility in international relations impacts international education.

Perspectives in Higher Education

An opportunity to engage in a lively and facilitated Q&A with leaders who have defended international education while examining their own unique perspective of value vs values. Confirmed panelists include Alan Ruby, senior scholar for alliance for higher education and democracy (University of Pennsylvania); Andrew Gordon, CEO & founder (Diversity Abroad); and Elizabeth "Libby" Lyons, interim head (based in the U.S.) of the Tokyo regional office and program director in OISE (National Science Foundation).

With guidance from the interview panel, reflect and share how you define value vs values within the context of international education on your campus.

Confirmed panelists include Angela Paiva, PhD, associate vice president for academic affairs-international programs (PUC-Rio University, Brazil); Sunhyuk Kim, PhD, vice president of international affairs (Korea University, South Korea); Britta Baron, vice provost and associate vice president, international (University of Alberta, Canada); and Brett Berquist, PhD, director international (The University of Auckland, New Zealand)
