SEVP Policy Guidance 1004-10 – Maintaining F and M Data IntegrityOn October 27, 2010, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) issued Policy Guidance 1004-10 – Establishing and Maintaining Data Integrity in F and M Nonimmigrant Information. SEVP states that the guidance “provides details with explanations to designated school officials (DSOs), to better enable them to enter the most correct data into student (or dependent) information in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). This guidance also advises DSOs how to correct data in SEVIS and other pertinent data systems.”
