State Information

Massachusetts is one of the six New England states that comprise NAFSA's Region XI. Unlike other states in our region, Massachusetts has such a high density of institutions that it's divided into two zones: Eastern Massachusetts and Central/Western Massachusetts, each with a NAFSA State Representative. Updates, news, and other events for Eastern Massachusetts are communicated through the main Region XI Listserv. If you're not currently on our mailing list, learn more and register your email here.

State Meetings

Typically, Central/Western Massachusetts organizes at least one meet-up a year for networking and fun at different locations. On occasion, other special sessions are organized as well. There are currently no in-person meetings scheduled due to the pandemic, but there are still countless opportunities to network, learn, and seek support. The Region's calendar is updated regularly with upcoming events.

If you'd like to propose a special event, are interested in sponsoring/hosting a future State Meeting, or would like an event shared with the region on our calendar, please contact your State Rep., Collen Callahan-Panday.
