NAFSA Archives at the University of Arkansas
The mission of the Special Collections Division at the University of Arkansas, which holds the records of NAFSA: Association of International Educators, is to collect, preserve, and make available for research materials relating to the history and development of international education and cultural exchange in the United States.
Special Collections is also the repository of other significant collections in this area, including: the archives of the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and the records of the Council for International Exchange of Scholars. Together with the Fulbright papers, they form a unique resource for research in international education and cultural exchange. Education and cultural exchange were a significant area of focus for the late Senator Fulbright throughout his career. His papers, also held by the University, include correspondence with U.S. and world cultural leaders, speeches, writings, and photographs.
