Management Development Program (MDP)
Whether you were recently promoted to a managerial position, have been leading staff for years, or see management in your future, this intensive program will help you excel in your career. Throughout this three-day program, you will assess your leadership style and discover how to best support your staff. Learn how to manage change, conduct an “environmental scan” of external factors affecting international education, and develop strategies to build continued support for your program. Following this program, continued learning opportunities are available at no additional cost to all participants.
Presidents and Provosts Summit
Higher Education Leadership for Global Learning and Internationalization
This summit is designed specifically for campus leaders and chief academic officers who wish to cultivate deeper partnerships with each other while engaging on issues of global learning and campus internationalization. Attendees will gain insights from keynote speakers and breakout sessions designed for presidents and provosts respectively. A networking reception will be held the evening before the full day event.
Symposium on Leadership
Leadership in Uncertain Times: Addressing a Changing International Education Environment
This symposium focuses on the various factors contributing to volatility in the field of international higher education. Through thoughtful analysis, rich discussion, and powerful examples, senior international officers and university leaders from around the world will hone strategic leadership skills to guide their campuses through common challenges. Participants engage in roundtable breakout discussions to network and share opportunities and best practices.
