Advocacy Day, March 20-21, 2012, in Washington DC is quickly approaching. Final registration ends March 14thRegister Online or Download the Form.

We are pleased to have awarded two of the four possible grants to recipients who will both be representing New Jersey. However, we currently have NO New Yorkers registered for Advocacy Day. Since it is critical to have a voice for both of region’s states at this event, we are welcoming travel grant applications for Advocacy Day until Friday, March 2nd to get New York State representation. For more details about Region X grants please read the Region X Grant Policies & Procedures.

Maybe you were thinking about attending but just haven’t acted yet, well, now is the time to act!  The $250 travel grant is awarded in an effort to help defray the costs of attending.  Recipients must attend the entire event and a follow-up report and/or presentation is required. Please email your applications to Beverly Plowucha at beverly.plowucha [at] suny.edu no later than Friday, March 2nd.
