The annual Spring Immigration Workshop (SIW) is organized by the KC-ISSS Representative and the Government Regulations Advisory Committee (GRAC) of NAFSA: Association of International Educators, Region XI. All session presenters are seasoned immigration advising professionals from institutions around New England.


The SIW has sessions for those just entering the field of immigration advising as well as those who have been in the field for many years. There is a strong emphasis on immigration as it affects students and scholars in institutions of higher education.

Registration Information

Registration fees for 2017 are:
NAFSA members - $90
Non-members - $110
Full-time students - $65

Travel Grants

NAFSA Region XI will be awarding travel grants (a value of up to $150) to a select number of individuals to attend the Spring Immigration Workshop (SIW) at Babson College in Wellesley, MA on March 20, 2017.

In order to be considered for an SIW travel grant, kindly complete the online application form and submit any additional required materials as a single PDF file to [email protected] by February 24, 2017.
