• All presenters are required to register and attend the NAFSA 2022 Annual Conference & Expo.
  • If your session or program is scheduled for the in-person program, we ask that you purchase the All-Access Pass and travel to Denver to present your session. Please note that all in-person presenters need to be physically present at the conference. Presenting by Zoom or other video platforms will not be possible.
  • If your session or program is scheduled for the virtual program only, you have two options: a) register for and attend the virtual program only, or b) purchase the All-Access Pass and also attend the in-person program in Denver, Colorado.
• All presenters will receive a 20% discount on their registration fee.

To ensure a quality conference program, the conference registration deadline for presenters only is April 4, 2022 (before the early bird registration deadline). Presenters who are not able to register by this deadline, will unfortunately not be able to present and their information will be removed from the program.

• Your session was selected for the virtual or the in-person program based on the content priorities developed by the Annual Conference Committee. Format changes will not be possible.
• Please confirm your participation by December 15, 2021.
• If not all presenters on your session are able to accept the invitation to present, you have the option of either completely declining the invitation for your entire session or changing/adjusting the roster of presenters for your session. Please let us know if you may have a challenge in this area.
• Session presenters selected for the virtual program who are also attending the in-person program in Denver with the All-Access Pass will have an opportunity to host an in-person follow-up discussion during the onsite program. More information will be available on this in January 2022.

• An individual may be listed in any number of proposals; however, it is NAFSA’s policy that an individual, regardless of role, may present in no more than two conference sessions. Note: this does not include poster fair presentations or workshop trainings.
• The number of presenters listed in a proposal should reflect the needs of the format selected.
  • For 50-minute sessions, career center presentations, and global partner sessions a maximum of four individuals (including the chair) are permitted.
  • For 25-minute (express) sessions, a maximum of two individuals (including the chair) are permitted.
• Presenter changes can be made by filling out this form.

• To cancel, please notify NAFSA in writing by contacting the sessions team.
• All cancellations of a presentation should be made as soon as possible, and by April 22, 2022, at the latest, to receive a refund.

• All accepted posters will be presented virtually to conference attendees via an upload of digital image and poster presentation recording.
• Poster presenters who choose to travel to Denver and attend the in-person portion of the program will also have the option to:
  • present a physical poster on-site;
  • network with fellow presenters and attendees; and
  • meet the members of the Annual Conference Committee.

• All poster presenters are required to register for the NAFSA 2022 Annual Conference & Expo.
  • If you choose to attend the in-person program and present your poster on-site in addition to the virtual presentation, we ask that you register for the All-Access Pass.
  • If your poster will be presented in the virtual program only, we ask that you register for and attend the virtual program only.
• All poster presenters will receive a 20% discount on their registration fee.

Presenters who are not able to register by this deadline, will unfortunately not be able to present and their information will be removed from the program.

Poster submitters will be notified via email of their proposal’s status by February 7, 2022, and will have until February 21, 2022, to accept the invitation to present.

• An individual may be listed in any number of proposals; however, it is NAFSA’s policy that an individual, regardless of role, may present in no more than two posters in the same theme. 
• A maximum of two individuals (including the chair) are permitted to present on a poster. Note: if you intend to present the poster in-person in addition to virtual, at least one of the two poster presenters will need to be present onsite. 
• Presenter changes can be made by filling out this form.

• To cancel, please notify NAFSA by contacting the posters team.
• All cancellations of a presentation should be made as soon as possible, and by April 22, 2022, at the latest, to receive a refund.

• All CTW trainers are required to register for the NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo.
  • If your CTW is scheduled for the in-person program, we ask that you purchase the All-Access Pass and travel to Denver to train your workshop. Please note that all trainers who are part of a scheduled in-person CTW teams must be physically present at the conference. Presenting by Zoom or other video platforms will not be possible.
  • If your CTW is scheduled for virtual delivery, you have two options: a) register for and attend virtual program only, or b) purchase the All-Access Pass and also attend the in-person program in Denver, Colorado. 
• All CTW trainers for virtual and in-person workshops will receive a 20% discount on their registration fee. 

• To ensure a quality conference program, CTW trainer conference registration deadline is April 4, 2022 (before early bird registration deadline).

• Proposal submitters will have until December 15, 2021, to accept and confirm the invitation to present.  
• If you are not able to accept the invitation, please contact the workshops team immediately. 

NAFSA will require proof of full COVID-19 vaccination for all participants attending the NAFSA 2022 Annual Conference & Expo in Denver, including all attendees, exhibitors, NAFSA staff, vendor partners, and guests. Masks are also required for all participants at the conference, except when actively eating or drinking.

NAFSA education programs at the annual conference are learning experiences and are noncommercial. Under no circumstances should a preconference workshop, general conference session, or poster presentation be used for direct promotion of a presenter's product, service, or other self-interest.

The Annual Conference Committee expects that session proposals demonstrate understanding of the varied conference attendee experiences, backgrounds, and learning needs.

NAFSA is a nonprofit organization and please know that your registration fees conference fees help to pay for the conference venue and all related expenses, as well as to support NAFSA’s operating expenses throughout the year. Your registration fees help to sustain all NAFSA programming at the annual conference and throughout the year.
