Jose Martinez

Jose Martinez, Director of International Student & Scholar Services at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW). Jose has served as the Region KCISSS Representative, Conference Planner, and in the Chair stream. He is an Academy for International Education alumni and a former Advocacy Day participant. He has presented at numerous NAFSA conferences and consistently reviews sessions for the annual conference. Jose works whole-heartedly at UIW and the community to foster partnerships for international initiatives and cultural engagements. Jose has served in the San Antonio Forum for International Education's committee and in the U.S. Air Force for 9 years before transitioning to international education. Jose has earned a BBA, MBA and MSA at UIW.
