Discuss Immigration Issues at USCIS CALIFORNIA SERVICE Center
The NAFSA Regulatory Ombud Subcommittee and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) California Service Center (CSC) have collaborated in planning a stakeholder engagement session (70kb ) focused on student and academic-related immigration issues. Join fellow international educators at the CSC on Monday August 12, 2013, 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (PST). Following the engagement, USCIS will offer tours of the California Service Center to interested participants.
Representatives from NAFSA Regulatory Ombud Subcommittee, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Student and Exchange Visitor Program (ICE SEVP), and several designated school officials (DSOs) will share information on topics of interest to academic community stakeholders.

Important Things to Remember When Visiting the Service Center
- All visitors must have a government issued ID in order to be allowed into the building.
- Bottled water is permitted through security.
- Parking is free at the Service Center and attendees will need to enter the building via the South Entrance.
- Cell Phones are permitted but the use of cell phone camera functions is not allowed.
