This is the August 8, 2011 version of a checklist that the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) provided to assist PDSOs in requesting updates to PDSO and DSOs in SEVIS.
SEVP had sent the first version of this checklist as an attachment to Broadcast Message 1106-02 (June 22, 2011), to assist PDSOs with the changes to adjudicable fields instituted with SEVIS 6.8 on June 24, 2011. The revised version of the checklist was sent as an attachment to Broadcast Message 1108-01 (August 8, 2011), and now includes an additional documentation item, which requires schools to include copies of Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, properly completed for the school officials who are added to the school's I-17, "as supporting documentation that the PDSO and/or DSOs being updated are regularly employed members of the school."
This is apparently connected to the 8 CFR 214.3(1)(1) condition that a PDSO or DSO be a "regularly employed member of the school administration." The version of the checklist sent to SEVIS users on July 22, 2011, did not include this documentary requirement.
