This open meeting is for graduate students and early-career professionals to discuss topics of interest prior to the start of the 2020-2021 Academic Year.
Graduate school topics may include how, when, and why to choose a graduate program, tips for success in a program, and strategies for conducting, presenting, and publishing research. Job market topics may include strategies for identifying career pathways (e.g. NAFSA Path™); skill sets, competencies, and self-assessments; navigating and developing networks, and other areas of interest for graduate students and early-career professionals. Join us to network and learn about available resources.
This open meeting will be hosted by the Emerging Scholar-practitioner Working Group within the Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship (TLS) Knowledge Community (KC).
