New System For NIV Appointments In Canada

Effective September 1, 2010, the US Mission in Canada transitioned to a new visa appointment service appointment system called The U.S. Visa Service. Applicants can pay their MRV visa application fee, arrange for courier service, get information, and make a nonimmigrant visa appointment (including TCN appointments) through this service.

New U.S. Passport And Consular Fees Effective July 13, 2010

New fees will go into effect on July 13, 2010 for U.S. passport-related services as well as for numerous U.S. consular services. Among the changes are fees for adding pages to U.S. passport books, a service which is currently free of charge.
