NAFSA is now accepting campus tour proposals from higher education institutions in the Philadelphia area for NAFSA 2018.


Widener University

Widener University Offices of Admissions and International Student Services cordially invite attendees of NAFSA 2018 Annual Conference to our beautiful 110-acre campus, only 20 minutes from Philadelphia.

Saint Joseph’s University invites NAFSA participants to visit our campus during the upcoming NAFSA conference. Located less than 9 miles away from the Philadelphia Conference Center, Saint Joseph’s University is Philadelphia’s only Jesuit University and one of the 28 Jesuit universities in the United States. Registrants who sign up for this event will take a tour of Hawk Hill, and learn about how students at Saint Joseph's University live greater through study abroad and exchange programs, and explore possible partnerships with Saint Joseph's University!

The University of Delaware (UD) is delighted to invite the participants of the NAFSA 2018 National Conference to visit our beautiful campus in Newark, Delaware on May 29th!

UD is a research-intensive, learner-centered university with global impact. Tracing its history to 1743, UD is one of the oldest institutions in the U.S. Among our notable faculty and alumni are three signers of the Declaration of Independence, former Vice-President Joe Biden, Nobel Laureates and more.

The University collaborates with organizations from around the world on research, recruitment and exchanges. In recognition of our commitment to international education, UD was awarded the 2015 NAFSA Senator Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization.

Join us for our NAFSA campus visit! We will provide you with round-trip transportation to Newark, Delaware--only 50 minutes southwest of Philadelphia. Once at UD, we will offer refreshments, a campus tour, and breakout groups to learn more about undergraduate programs, graduate programs or the English Language Institute (depending on your area of interest). Lunch will be included.

This walking tour will be approximately 75 minutes, and accommodations can be made for those needing mobility assistance.

"Wrap up this year's NAFSA Conference with a visit to Jefferson's East Falls Campus"

You are invited to spend your afternoon on the beautiful, park-like campus in the historic East Falls section of Philadelphia. Enjoy a trolley ride to the Jefferson East Falls Campus, share a luncheon of traditional regional foods, and learn more about Jefferson and what it has to offer students in Architecture, Business, Design, Engineering, Fashion &Textiles, Health, Humanities, Medicine and Science, from deans and students. Transportation trolleys will be provided from the NAFSA conference site to East Falls at 12:30 p.m. Returning trolleys will depart the East Falls campus at 2:30 p.m. and will return to the Convention Center via a loop through Jefferson’s Center City campus.
