December 1, 2022 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Registration Closed

The connection between research and practice in international education is vital. Each year, NAFSA's Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship Knowledge Community (TLS KC) honors an individual's contributions to the knowledge and practice of the field through the Innovative Research in International Education Award.

This event will feature a presentation from the 2022 award recipient, Christina W. Yao, PhD, focusing on lessons from her research about globally mobile students [see the November 2022 Trends & Insights article where she expands on these ideas.] TLS KC member leaders will also provide opportunities for large-group discussion about the impacts of research in the field and provide guidance about the process to apply for the 2023 TLS KC Award.

This event is open to scholar-practitioners and researchers of all levels. All are encouraged to come with any questions you may have.

The event is free of charge but must be registered for in advance. Registration closes one hour before the live event. Please note this event will be recorded and made available on NAFSA's website afterward.

Any questions about this event can be sent to NAFSA Staff via the TLS KC contact form.
