The Bay Area Professional International Educators Roundtable (BA-PIER) provides an opportunity to connect with colleagues outside of official NAFSA gatherings. International education professionals meet three times annually either virtually or in-person at a host campus in the region to discuss issues and trends affecting F-1 and J-1 international students and scholars. 

BA-PIER is an independent and informal organization run by volunteers and dedicated to supporting the professional growth of its members. BA-PIER has over 300 members representing colleges, universities, intensive English programs, high schools, and other international education organizations throughout the Bay Area and surrounding counties. All levels of expertise welcome!
