Knowledge Community for International Student and Scholar Services


This knowledge community provides professional development opportunities for international student and scholar advisers and for those who work or volunteer in campus- and community-based international programming.


Three networks support ISSS activities:

International Student Advising NetworkInternational Student Advising Network

Select from a variety of resources developed to help you do your job better, including assistance with understanding immigration regulations, building successful orientation programs, intercultural communications advice, best practices for developing appropriate office policies, and supporting internationalization on your campus.


International Scholar Advising NetworkInternational Scholar Advising Network

International Scholar Advising This network supports the efforts of those who work with international faculty and scholars, assisting with immigration regulations, as well as orientation and adjustment concerns.
Campus and Community Programming NetworkCampus and Community Programming Network

This network addresses programming efforts that occur on campus and in the community in support of international education and internationalization goals. Professionals served by this network include volunteer and salaried staff conducting programs that are community- and/or campus-based.
