NAFSA: Association of International Educators is an association of individuals worldwide advancing international education and exchange. NAFSA's members number nearly 10,000 individuals from all 50 states and more than 150 countries.
Region X, which includes members in New York and New Jersey, has a long history rich with leadership, programmatic initiatives, enthusiasm, friends, and a reputation for excellence.

2013 NAFSA Advocacy Day
NAFSA’s annual Advocacy Day, attended by 155 members from 38 states, took on a younger look this year, hosting 17 students from New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Virginia, and Ohio. Among them were students from Ramapo College in Mahwah, New Jersey, who attended meetings with staff for New Jersey Senators Frank Lautenberg and Bob Menendez, and Representatives Scott Garrett, Rodney Frelinghuysen, and Rush Holt.
