Special Guest
The Deputy Assistant Secretary for International & Foreign Language Education Services at the U. S. Department of Education, Andre Lewis, and his staff also attended.
I share the vision of President Obama and Secretary Duncan that all students have access to an education that prepares them for success in today’s globally competitive economy. Our best prepared graduates in this global century will have had a study abroad experience and perhaps one that changes them forever. These experiences are so important and we must all work together to ensure that many more students have the opportunity to expand their minds and broaden their horizons through study abroad.
-Andre Lewis, Deputy Assistant Secretary for International & Foreign Language Education Services, U. S. Department of Education
