As international educators, it is important that we recognize and respect the various religions of our students, scholars, and visitors from around the globe. For our Muslim guests, the holy month of Ramadan is an important time to reconnect with other followers of Islam on campus and in the community as well as to reaffirm their faith. This holiday is a wonderful opportunity for campuses to help Muslim students feel welcomed, included, and respected.
