Khotsim is the senior adviser at the American Center for Education and Research, Inc. in Minsk, Belarus. One of his pet projects is the Virtual Consulting Office, a global, multi-lingual, online network of educationUSA advisers.
Ambassador Tibor Nagy, Jr. - April 2007 (SIO)
Nagy has been Vice Provost for International Affairs at Texas Tech University since 2003. Previously he was "Diplomat in Residence" at the University of Oklahoma, after postings as Ambassador to Ethiopia and Guinea. He also served as Deputy Ambassador in Nigeria, Cameroon, and Togo after assignments in Zambia, Seychelles, and Washington DC. Nagy arrived in the US as a political refugee from Hungary.
David Larsen, Ph.D. - March and April 2007 (IELD)
Dr. Larsen is a veteran international educator. A former faculty member (American literature), he served as executive director of the Fulbright Foundation in Greece in the 1970's. In the 1980's he directed an administrative division of IIE in New York, and was director of the Center for International Education at the University of Tennessee.

JoAnn McCarthy was appointed Assistant Provost for International Affairs at the University of Pennsylvania in March of 2005. She is responsible for articulating and providing focus for the university's international agenda and leading the development and implementation of the university's global strategy.

Mary M. Dwyer, Ph.D., is president and CEO of IES, the Institute for the International Education of Students, one of the nation’s oldest, largest and most reputable not-for-profit organizations providing study abroad programs to U.S. college and university students. IES has educated more than 40,000 students since its founding in 1950.

Althen served for 30 years as a foreign student adviser at the University of Iowa, many of them as director of the Office of International Students and Scholars. He was NAFSA's president in its 50th-anniversary year, and has received its Marita Houlihan Award for his contributions to the field of international educational exchange.
