Educational Highlights
Four outstanding plenary speakers and more than 200 sessions filled the conference program, in addition to 45 workshops, six colloquia on internationalizing the curriculum, a range of poster fairs, and open meetings. In the Expo Hall, attendees could visit with more than 400 exhibitors and stop by the Career Center for résumé reviews and employer information sessions. Check Conference Connection for session handouts and exhibitor information through the month of June.
La Santa Cecilia
La Santa Cecilia, a Los Angeles-based band that opened for Michael Franti and Spearhead at the Opening Celebration, spoke with NAFSA about the importance of speaking out for immigration reform and performed an acoustic song before heading on stage. Check out their performance and sign the Speak Out petition to add your voice to the conversation.
