NAFSA 2020 Annual Conference & Expo

With concern for the health and safety of our attendees, the NAFSA board of directors decided to cancel the 2020 NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo scheduled to take place on May 24-29 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Plan ahead and use these resources to create an engaging, inclusive presentation.

For guidance on logistical matters pertaining to your session or poster presentation, refer to your session/poster acceptance email and the Presenter FAQs.

Early-bird registration deadline April 17, 2020
Deadline to request visa invitation letter* May 1, 2020
Uploads due** (PowerPoints, Handouts, and Poster Designs) May 15, 2020

*Not all non-U.S. based attendees require a visa. See more visa resources.

** Both session and poster presenters may create handouts to distribute on site. However, only session presenters may upload their additional materials to the online planner. Poster presenters may upload only their poster design to the ePoster Gallery.

Achieving Accessibility

NAFSA is committed to making the conference experience and its educational opportunities accessible to all. We request the following of session presenters:

  1. Upload your materials (slides, handouts, poster designs, etc.) by May 15, 2020 so that conference attendees who need to download or print these materials in advance will be able to do so.
  2. Ensure your session materials are accessible before you submit them to NAFSA.
