NAFSA is pleased to offer Group Memberships that will provide your team with special savings. This category is part of our enhanced NAFSA Membership Commitment to provide our members with increased value and expanded benefits.
Group Membership allows you to add staff members and employees to the group membership account, giving them access to all the benefits of NAFSA membership at a discounted rate. If your institution or organization currently has two or more NAFSA members, you can take advantage of significant savings with this option. You will also benefit by receiving only one invoice for all memberships.
Group Membership Renewals
Group members are temporarily unable to self-pay for their membership renewals. Please reach out to your institution's or organization's Group Membership Manager or contact NAFSA Membership staff at [email protected] for assistance with your renewal.
Group Membership Tiers
Group Membership dues are determined by the number of renewing members included in the group. To determine your dues level, consult the group membership tiers.

Eligibility
- Members of a group must all be located in the same physical location, e.g. a business office or university campus.
- New, International, Student, and Retired members already have reduced pricing and therefore do not count toward calculation of a pricing tier. They can, however, be included in the group invoice.
- Each group membership has a “group manager,” an individual (with a NAFSA account) who is responsible for:
- Forming the initial group
- Adding and removing group members
- Purchasing new memberships and renewing existing memberships
- Requesting membership transfers
- Finding a new group manager as necessary and notifying NAFSA Membership staff of the new manager contact information
- Group Membership dues are determined by the number of renewing members included in the group. To determine your dues level, consult the group membership tiers.
- New, Student and Retired Professional memberships are not eligible in calculation of the pricing tier.
- Pricing tier discounts are applied at the time of purchase or renewal. The pricing tier is determined by the number of memberships purchased during the original group membership transaction. The purchase of group memberships cannot be split or staggered, e.g. a “Silver” group of 6 memberships where 3 memberships are purchased one month and the remaining 3 are purchased the next month.
- The pricing tier is locked for the 12-month membership period. The addition of new group members after the initial purchase or renewal will not change the pricing tier for the group. New group members will be offered the existing pricing tier. The tier will be recalculated on the group renewal date.
- Group memberships will be offered for purchase through the NAFSA Shop or through a paper form submitted with payment information.
