Update on 2020 Fall Bi-Regional Conference

Greetings Region X,

It is with very mixed emotions that we have made the decision that we will no longer host an in-person 2020 Bi-Regional Conference, which was scheduled for October 27-29 in Montreal, QC, Canada.

While our teams were looking forward to convening in-person this fall, we have been continuously evaluating the best ways to serve the region as our community continues to adapt to incredible upheaval. Ultimately, with the public health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, presenters, and volunteers in mind, we recognize that our members and the wider international education community continue to be affected by uncertainty around the situation. This has led all parties to conclude that hosting an in-person conference is no longer possible for our regions this year.

We also want to thank YOU as a member of our regional families. We believe in the strength of our NAFSA regional community, and are inspired to adapt and meet the needs of our region during this unprecedented period. Our regional leadership teams remain committed to connecting with our community and supporting our regions and our field. We appreciate your support and dedication to Region X and we continue to welcome feedback and suggestions as we work on possible future events for Region X. Please feel free to contact Region X.

Thank you for being part of NAFSA Region X. We hope you and yours are safe and well.
