Discover the amazing beauty and hometown charm of Prescott, Arizona at the Region II annual conference! It was held November 6–9, 2007 at the Prescott Resort Hotel & Casino.

With the conference theme, “Blazing New Trails,” you will have plenty of opportunities to blaze through workshops and sessions of interest to the region as well as the trails that surround Prescott. A vibrant city located in the mountains of central Arizona, Prescott’s mile high altitude offers an outstanding four-season climate that allows for a multitude of opportunities for outdoor activity in a breathtaking natural setting.

The Prescott Resort Hotel & Casino is just minutes from downtown Prescott. As the original territorial capitol of Arizona, the city places great emphasis on historic preservation. Over 600 buildings are listed on the national Register of Historic Places. This history comes to life in Prescott’s museums, neighborhoods, courthouse square, and downtown streets. The influence of rich Native American culture is also strong in Prescott as the Yavapai Indian Reservation is surrounded by the city.

Although the conference is over, you can peruse the site to see what was offered.
