Education Opportunities (Sessions/Workshops/Posters): In addition to the traditional workshops and conference sessions, this year’s conference will include poster sessions. We know that members of both regions are eager to present sessions on a variety of topics covering all of the many areas of international education. The wider range of participants and presentation formats will make for an expanded and unique professional development opportunity for our regions.

Cultural Exhibitions and University Visits: This conference will definitely have the flavor of an international visit without the need of a passport. The schedule will include opportunities to visit historical landmarks, such as the forts of Old San Juan, and will feature a closing reception in the heart of Old San Juan. Stay tuned for more information about this exciting closing celebration! The conference also includes visits to local universities, giving participants a chance to share with and learn from our NAFSA partners in Puerto Rico. Sponsorship opportunities are available for these and other unique conference events. Contact us if you would like your organization to be featured as a conference sponsor.

Sheraton Hotel & Casino The conference hotel is the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino, located just steps away from the Puerto Rico Convention Center.
