Adem Althor

As a longtime student of the Arabic language, Adem entered the field of international education in 2014 to advise a large contingent of Saudi students at Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) in Michigan. Over the years, Adem has worked hard to cultivate the university’s partnership with the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission while identifying and creating new partnerships too. Adem travels regularly – domestically and abroad – to meet with sponsors, attend recruitment fairs, and check in on the alumni. Adem’s role at SVSU includes a wide range of responsibilities in the areas of international admissions, student and scholar services, as well as transcript evaluation for the registrar’s office.
