Amanda Broome

Amanda Broome is the assistant director of marketing and communications for international affairs at Virginia Tech, where she helps connect students to global learning opportunities through strategic communications. She brings over a decade of experience in higher education communications, community-building, and volunteer leadership. Broome served for two years as communications coordinator for NAFSA Region VIII. Known for fostering connection in both personal and professional settings, she enjoys helping people feel supported and engaged. Broome is excited about the opportunity to continue that work through member engagement in the international education field.
