Kristoffer Toribio has 12 years of professional experience in undergraduate admissions, recruitment, and international education. He began his career at the Office of Admissions for his alma mater, the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, and currently serves as the manager, international admissions for Orange Coast College, a 2-year community college in Costa Mesa, California. Kristoffer's mission is to advocate for international students attending community colleges. He has also been involved in several community-based and grassroots social media initiatives to promote equity, inclusion, and access in international higher education and undergraduate admissions. He is the recipient of the 2020 Distinguished Service Award by the International Association for College Admissions Counseling, being the first community college representative to receive this honor, and is currently a candidate for president-elect.
