Mackenzie Bishop

Mackenzie (Kerby) Bishop works for Virtual Internships and is passionate about connecting students to valuable work-integrated learning experiences that are global in nature. Prior to joining Virtual Internships, she worked for ELS Language Centers helping international students become proficient in academic English before moving on to university studies. Her roots in teaching and academic operations give her a unique perspective to fully understand the student journey. Mrs. Bishop served on the EnglishUSA board in advocacy and external relations for three years and has presented at EnglishUSA PDC, EnglishUSA Stakeholders, TESOL, SE TESOL, and the Allerton English Articulation Conference. She has been published in Oxford University Press’s The Year’s Work in English twice. Ms. Bishop has a particular interest in advocacy at both the local and national levels.
