Margaret Y. Luévano

Margaret has over 20 years of experience within the field of international education and serves as the Director of International Student and Scholar Services at The University of Texas at Austin. She has been at UT Austin since 2010 and has also held roles as international student advisor, exchange advisor, assistant director, and associate director. Previous to UT Austin, Margaret was Director of International Student Services at St. Mary's University in San Antonio for eight years. She holds a B.A. in international relations from St. Mary’s University, an M.A. in Middle Eastern studies from The University of Texas at Austin, and an M.F.A. in creative nonfiction from Goucher College in Baltimore.
