Mark Eckman

Mark Eckman is the director of education abroad at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a role he began in the fall of 2019. Prior to that he led the Study Abroad Office at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. In both roles Mark has also worked as a deputy Title IX coordinator, focusing on incidents abroad, and has presented on the integration of the response to incidents of sexual misconduct in education abroad protocols. Mark recently concluded his work on the Forum on Education Abroad Code of Ethics Working Group, and is an active member of NAFSA Trainer Corps.
