Mark Eckman

Mark Eckman is Executive Director of Global Education at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where he leads the education abroad team and the university's first-year study abroad program. He provides strategic leadership on programming that supports a diverse student population and promotes equity in international education access. With over 10 years of leadership experience, Mark has written and presented on the fiscal underpinnings of education abroad, served on NAFSA, Forum, and OSAC committees, and as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator has contributed to training development for education abroad administrators and faculty program leaders.
