Mark Hallett

Mark Hallett served the field of international education for over 30 years at Indiana University, the University of New Orleans, and Colorado State University.   Mark retired in 2022 as Senior Director, International Student and Scholar Services at CSU.   

Mark was active in NAFSA leadership at the regional and national levels, serving as Regional Chair and Chair of KCISS. He was instrumental in advocacy efforts, initiating the State Whip concept which grew into NAFSA’s Grassroots Advocacy. Mark’s work included international enrollment management, intercultural programming, immigration, and international partnership development.
