Michele Arellano has been working in higher education administration since 1999 and, more specifically, in education abroad since 2002. She currently serves as the associate director of the Office of Study Abroad at the University of Kansas. Her main responsibilities are managing all student services functions, including enrollment management; scholarship and financial aid processing; and advising for, study abroad. Additionally, Arellano serves as study abroad liaison and main adviser to the university's financial aid office, registrar's office, and enrollment management office. She frequently presents on financing education abroad and has served on numerous internal and external scholarship review committees. She currently serves as member-at-large of NAFSA's Education Abroad Regulatory Practice (EARP) Committee and is chair of the EARP Financial Aid Subcommittee.
