Phoebe Nishimoto
Phoebe Nishimoto (she/her) is a new International Education professional and serves as the Manager of International Program Logistics for Central College in Pella, Iowa. Before arriving in Pella, Phoebe attended Bowling Green State University (BGSU) in Bowling Green, Ohio, where she received a Master of Arts in Cross-Cultural & International Education (MACIE). There, Phoebe focused her research on making study abroad programs and experiences centered in equity and cross-cultural understanding. She is motivated by the opportunity to engage students with cross-cultural opportunities and is passionate about increasing accessibility for underrepresented students in education abroad. Outside of work, Phoebe loves performing in her local taiko group and getting to know her new home in the Midwest with her partner Emily and their beloved cats, Ellie & Ewan.
