Ryan Geiger
Ryan Geiger has been working in international education for over 10 years. He is currently serving in the role of Northeast region international student adviser and global education coordinator at The Pennsylvania State University. Ryan advises international students on immigration and a wide variety of other concerns. He provides programming to acclimate international students into the university community and build intercultural competence among all Penn State students, faculty, and staff. Ryan has been involved with NAFSA since 2014 presenting at regional conferences, attending webinars and trainings, and attending regional and annual conferences. Ryan is currently pursuing his PhD in American studies with research interests in wealth and poverty and contemporary immigration. In his free time, Ryan enjoys traveling, hiking, teaching spin classes, and photography, and cooking.
