Timothy Bryson

Program Director, Student-Athlete Career Development

Timothy F. Bryson (he/him) is a Black millennial educator whose mission is to help all people identify their passion, inspire vision, and walk in their purpose. He currently carries out this mission as the Program Director of Student-Athlete Career Development at the University of Maryland, College Park. In this role, he coordinates all Maryland Made career readiness initiatives including the signature Barry and Mary Gossett Fellows Program and InTERPship Academy. Bryson also serves as the liaison to the Office of International Students and Scholar Services (ISSS) and advisor to Worldwide Terps, MDMade’s international student-athlete organization. 

Bryson is also a PhD student in the Student Affairs concentration at the University of Maryland. His research interests are situated at the intersection of internationalization and college athletics, with a deliberate focus on the international college athlete experience. Specifically, his research concentrates on international college athlete migration, involvement, and career pathways.

Bryson is a former certified athletic trainer, Division I college athlete, and NCAA postgraduate intern. He is an alumnus of The Ohio State University (M.A. ’18) and the University of South Carolina, Columbia (B.S. ’16). Bryson is also the Founder and President of Walk With TFB, LLC and the host of the Walk With TFB podcast. He is the proud son of Leslie Bryson and brother to Brian and Brandi Bryson. A member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., he enjoys traveling, listening to Drake, and visiting craft breweries.
