Katrina Relief for certain F-1 students

In a Federal Register notice on November 25, 2005, USCIS specified procedures for "special student relief" benefits (employment authorization and authorization to reduce course load if authorized for employment) for certain F-1 students who were affected by Hurricane Katrina. This temporary program will remain in effect until February 1, 2006. AMDOC#: 200512001
