Validity period IBIS checks extended to 90 days

A January 20, 2004 memo from the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) provides guidance to adjudicators about the validity period for IBIS checks. The validity period has been extended from 35 days to 90 days. This means that an IBIS check need not be repeated as long as adjudication of the application or petition occurs within 90 calendar days of a prior IBIS check. AMDOC#: 200407007
