The Research Incubator is designed to bring together researchers from across the field of international education. As research in the field grows, we seek to bring together researchers from different areas of study to discuss current trends and ideate future areas for consideration. This event will also provide opportunities to discuss current and future research projects with member leaders from the Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship Knowledge Community (TLS KC).

We encourage researchers at all levels to join this incubator to share ideas, network, and explore collaborations. The event will provide opportunities for large-group discussion as well as breakout sessions. During the program, participants will have the opportunity to:

•    connect with fellow researchers to discuss ideas for future research and challenges in current research;
•    explore possible research collaborations; and
•    discuss proposal ideas for sessions, workshops, and posters for events such as the NAFSA 2022 Annual Conference & Expo.

This event is open to researchers and scholar-practitioners of all levels. Participants are encouraged to send drafts of potential proposals in advance to be reviewed by facilitators of the Research Incubator. Initial interest in having draft proposals reviewed should be sent via the Research form by Friday, August 20. [Coordination of draft review will then be conducted via email.]

NAFSA Peer-to-Peer Perspectives facilitate an online dialogue between international education professionals. Participants should come prepared to listen, learn, and share with their peers. These events are free and open to all international education professionals.

Any questions about this event can be sent to NAFSA Staff via the Research form.
